Our History
1989
Our Beginnings
Cerco Training was launched in 1989 as part of Granada IT Services, originally created to deliver practical, hands‑on training for individuals looking to start a career in IT. From the very beginning, the focus was on developing real‑world skills that employers genuinely value.
2003
Expanding into Recruitment
In 2003, Cerco expanded its offering to include a recruitment and contract division. This allowed us to place trainees directly into fully paid roles, bridging the gap between training and employment and giving clients access to capable, job‑ready IT professionals.
2010
The Cerco Model Evolves
From 2010, Cerco evolved into the business it is today. We began offering free training and recruitment opportunities to the right candidates while continuing to supply high‑quality, well‑trained IT professionals to our clients. This model strengthened our reputation for developing motivated talent and delivering reliable technical services.

Over 30 Years of Experience
With more than 30 years’ experience, Cerco is a trusted technical services provider to industry leaders including BT, Fujitsu, Computacenter, NCR, Bybox, Vista, and HP. By selecting candidates with strong potential and training them to high standards in both technical expertise and customer service, we consistently meet the expectations of clients nationwide.

Cerco makes support for the Armed Forces community a key priority and has signed up to the Corporate Covenant, making a public declaration of its commitment to providing opportunities for ex-Forces personnel.
We are also a proud partner of the Recovery Career Service Partnership, an inspirational career service which empowers ex-Forces personnel that are wounded, injured and sick to achieve a sustainable and fulfilling career.
In September 2023 Cerco joined the Fortinet Veterans Advisory Council. Through its membership, Cerco is perfectly positioned to support those leaving military service into a career in Cyber Security.
