Freelance/ Contracted Field Engineer

We are currently recruiting I.T Field Engineers to work within various regions around the UK.
About You:
- This role will be largely field based and will often require you to travel to customer sites, so it is imperative you have a valid driving licence, have your own vehicle.
- An understanding on the fundamental skills of being a field engineer.
- Must have previous experience of hardware IT engineering.
- Lots of opportunities ranging from flexible, ad-hoc shifts to short and long term contract opportunities.
- Practical skills such as DIY experience would be highly beneficial
- Ex- Military- Desirable
Main Responsibilities of the IT Field Engineers:
- Attending customer sites to install/ resolve IT equipment
- Working closely with the IT support desk to feedback on support calls and ongoing issues
- Liaising with account managers and updating customers with the progress and resolution of issues

Skills Required
- UK Driving Licence & own vehicle
- Strong Interpersonal/Customer skills
- A genuine passion for IT & a willingness to learn new skills

- Logical approach to fault finding & diagnostics
- MCP, Cisco or CompTIA Certification
